East London covers the sharpest contrast in the capital. Dense Victorian and Georgian terraces around Hackney and Tower Hamlets give way to Edwardian streets through Walthamstow and Leyton, then to large interwar and post-war suburban stock across Redbridge, Barking and Havering where plots are generous and permitted development goes a long way.
We work across the whole of it, and the project types split accordingly. Inner east is side returns, mansards, basement and loft space, and a great deal of leasehold and conservation-area work.
